Networking Event

After the successful StartUp Nights »Healthcare Industry« in 2018, 2020 and 2021, a StartUp Night on the topic of »Greentech & Future Engineering« will now take place for the first time. The Buisness + Innovation Center Kaiserslautern (BIC) invites founders, established companies, researchers and investors as well as people interested in founding companies to listen to exciting presentations by founders and to exchange ideas during a panel discussion. The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture (MWVLW).
 

Also Present: Wendeware AG and the Greenable GmbH

With Jochen Marwende and the »Wendeware AG«, a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM) is also represented. The start-up company was founded in 2019 and sells the energy management system »AMPERIX«, which was developed as part of a research project at Fraunhofer ITWM. The energy management system collects energy data and thus helps to make optimal use of locally generated energy.

A spin-off of the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) is also participating in the event. »Greenable GmbH« was founded in the fall of 2020 and helps companies without prior knowledge to record their carbon footprint. With their idea, they were named Start-up of the Year Rhineland-Palatinate 2022.
