Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are critical to science as they can analyze complex data, recognize patterns and make predictions that surpass human capabilities. These technologies enable advances in fields such as medicine, materials science and environmental research.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM plays an important role by developing innovative ML and AI methods and applying them in various scientific applications. Through research and collaboration, the institute contributes to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and finding solutions to complex scientific challenges.

In order to promote internal collaboration, Fraunhofer ITWM invites its employees to present the current work at the institute in this area to each other.
